The Evaporator is not a sifting box. It is an odor free litter box designed for cats using only one small bag of any non-clumping litter. The airflow allows evaporation of the urine before it breaks down and changes into ammonia. The Evaporator operates on the natural air currents in the room. It does not use any other external source of power. Air supplied to the litter from the bottom and top of the litter box prevents the biological process that breaks the urine down into ammonia by increasing the air supply.
